Almost every one has the same quiet scene in the bed: a girl in a little crown, reading under the furs with a snowy owl or a fox beside her. After that the room fills with animals more than ice. Foxes sleep in baskets and on cushions, a penguin brings the tea, seals lie on the rug. The throne and the armchairs gather around a low table, so the palace reads less like a palace than a family sitting room.
For a room made of ice, nobody in it looks cold.
