Every one of them took the room with an upstairs, and the upstairs is where the students go: reading in a corner, bent over a star chart, writing at a desk. Downstairs mostly belongs to the old wizard with his book and the cauldrons bubbling on the floor. A black cat wanders through almost every class, and the owls take any perch they can find.
Nobody is paying attention to the lesson, and the teacher does not seem to mind.
