Nobody left a wall bare. The tanks stand along both walls and up against the glass, a porthole or a ship's wheel turns up among them, and the floor is kept for the people. A keeper is doing the rounds in every one, and children have wandered in after hours, some of them already in pajamas.
The tallest one is worth opening slowly, a gallery at a time, with the moon over the roof.
